The MSPA is run by its members, for its members. Each region has its own chapter (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America) and its own Board of Directors. The board members are volunteers, elected by the Association membership and generally serve for a period of five years. Each regional board is supported by an administrator and support staff.
Regional boards operate under the advisory control of the Global Board which comprises representatives from each region, usually the regional President or Past-President. The purpose of the Global Board is to promote unity between the Chapters, to decide policy, to resolve issues and to advise regional boards as appropriate.
The founders of MSPA and all MSPA Regions are represented in the MSPA Global Board.
